LUNAR PRO

LUNAR PRO

£37.50

The LUNAR PRO is an evolution of a classic, refined with the help of professional insights to create a glove that feels more like a part of your hand than a piece of equipment. It takes everything keepers loved about the original and softens the "shell" for a more natural, responsive feel.

The Grip: 4mm German Contact Latex

This is a professional-grade material designed for pure stopping power. In the world of goalkeeping, the softer the latex, the better it "grabs" the ball.

  • Dry Weather: 5/5 – In dry conditions, this is the gold standard for grip. It offers a nearly magnetic connection to the ball.

  • Wet Weather: 4/5 – It performs at an elite level in the rain, provided you use a towel to keep excess water from pooling on the surface.

  • Durability: 3/5 – Because this material is so soft and "tacky," it is more delicate. Like a high-performance racing tire, it is built for maximum grip rather than long-term ruggedness.

The "Pro" Upgrades

What sets the LUNAR PRO apart is the attention to the back of the hand and the spaces between your fingers.

  • Premium Latex Backhand: We swapped out standard materials for a softer, premium latex on the backhand. This makes the glove more flexible and allows it to "break in" almost instantly.

  • Latex Gussets: The sides of the fingers now feature close-fitting latex gussets. This replaces mesh or fabric with even more "sticky" surface area, ensuring that the fit stays snug and the grip remains consistent even if the ball spins off-center.

Engineering

We used a Negative Cut, stitching the seams on the inside to remove any "dead space." Combined with the latex wrap on the thumb and side edges, you get maximum surface area in a streamlined package. To keep everything anchored, the double wrap strap allows you to customize the tension around your wrist, giving you a locked-in, secure feeling through every dive.

The First Step: Removing the Film

Your gloves arrive with a clear protective film to keep the German latex factory-fresh.

  • Take your time: Peeling this off is a slow, painstaking process.

  • Be patient: Avoid "pinching" or digging your nails into the latex while peeling. It’s a ritual that every pro goes through, and it’s the only way to ensure your 5/5 dry grip is ready to perform from the very first whistle.
