RELIC -Y

£40.00

The Relic is designed for the keeper who wants a high-performance tool that effectively disappears on the hand. It focuses on a "one-to-one" connection between you and the ball, removing anything that gets in the way of a clean save.

The Elite Surface: Contact Latex

The palm is made from 4mm German Contact Latex, which is widely considered the gold standard for professional grip.

  • How it Works: Think of this material like a high-performance tire. It is incredibly soft and "tacky," allowing it to practically glue itself to the ball in dry conditions and stay very reliable when it's wet.

  • The Trade-off: Because it is a "performance-first" material, it is delicate. Like a soft racing tire, it wears down faster than a hard, cheap one. You are trading some durability for the best grip money can buy.

  • The First Step: It arrives with a protective film. Peeling it off is a slow, careful process, but it’s essential to keep that professional surface pristine before your first session.

The "True Balance" Fit

We used a VG3 cut, which is a very popular hybrid cut. This creates a very snug, secure fit around your fingers, whilst also enhancing control and giving maximum hand-to-ball contact There is no "extra" material floating around inside the glove, giving you a much better feel for exactly where the ball is when you make contact.

Mesh fabric: Strength and durability

The backhand is made of Mesh fabric, with 3mm embossed German New Basic latex. It comes with 7mm foam padding inside for maximum impact control. The wrist area is a high performance Nylon elastic, with a fixed German New Basic latex strap. This is an ideal glove for all of those high-intensity matches.

Maximum Surface Area

Catches aren't always perfect, so we wrapped the latex around the thumb and the inner and outer edges. This gives you extra "sticky" real estate. If a ball hits the side of your hand or your thumb during a scramble, you still have professional-grade latex there to help you hold on.

Expert Tip: Respect the Latex

To keep a pro-level glove like the Eclipse Pro performing, you have to be its mechanic. Dirt is what kills grip. By carefully washing the palms after every use and avoiding "pinching" the latex when you take them off, you ensure that 4mm of German engineering stays "sticky" for as long as possible.
